Nasal Valve Surgery

The nasal valve is the narrowest area in the nose that air flows through. It is affected by the septum, inferior turbinates and the outer cartilage of the nose. Nasal valve surgeries address all of these areas.

Slight changes to these structures can have dramatic effects on airflow. These surgeries are customized to the patient and the obstruction. Our objective is always to return patients to lives without the strain, difficulty and stress of breathing difficulties.

What To Expect

  • Certain nasal valve surgeries can be performed in the office but the majority are performed in the OR.
  • You will have initial nasal congestion from swelling in the nose .
  • You will have prescriptions for pain medication along with an antibiotic.
