Role: Clinical Nurse
We are seeking a full-time, compassionate, motivated, and team-oriented Clinical Nurse to join our facial plastic surgery team! This role works closely alongside Dr. Guy and plays a vital part in our mission to provide exceptional patient care while supporting our results-driven practice focused on excellence, safety, and patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Assist Dr. Guy during in-office surgeries and treatments
- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments and instruments, including operation of autoclave
- Room patients and accurately document clinical information
- Conduct patient assessments and obtain medical histories
- Initiate post-operative phone calls and provide pre- and post-operative education and instructions
- Remove sutures and assist with routine post-operative care
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by Dr. Guy
- Assist administrative staff with patient scheduling and directing phone calls as needed
- Support a positive, professional, and patient-centered office environment
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
- Previous surgical, operating room, or plastic surgery experience preferred
- Clinical experience preferred
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Willingness to learn and assist in other office roles when needed
- Current BLS or ACLS certification preferred
